Reflect on Prototype

Using your prototype smartphone/tablet cover as a starting point, reflect on how you could improve on the pattern you’ve been working with. Could you change the fastenings, add a strap, incorporate storage for earbuds, etc.

Step 1

Now that you’ve completed your first sewing project, discuss your finished smartphone/tablet cover with your group. 

What modifications would you make? Is there room for improvement? 

Step 2

Pick one of the modifications you would like to make and draw a quick sketch for how you would alter your basic pattern to accommodate these changes.
