Create a Basic Shape
Create the basic shape of your desk tidy and learn to set its dimensions and position in the material.
Set your number of Sides or Points and select Apply.
Select Close on the menu

Select your shape (the outline should turn into a dashed pink line) then go to Set Selected Objects Size in the Transform Objects menu.
Set your width to 150mm then select Apply.
Select Close on the menu
In the Align Tools, go to Align to Material and select the middle icon to centre your material on the horizontal and the vertical axis.
Step 1
Select the polygon or star tool from the Create Vectors menu on the left-hand side and draw your shape.
Set your number of Sides or Points and select Apply.
Select Close on the menu
Step 2
Select your shape (the outline should turn into a dashed pink line) then go to Set Selected Objects Size in the Transform Objects menu. Set your width to 150mm then select Apply.
Select Close on the menu
Step 3
With your shape still selected, go to Align Select Objects in the Transform Objects Menu to set your shape’s position within the material.
In the Align Tools, go to Align to Material and select the middle icon to centre your material on the horizontal and the vertical axis.
