Learn to use the Create Form tool to create organic shapes in the Sculpt Workspace in Fusion 360.
Step 1
You have now had a chance to practise setting up toolpaths from a 2D design. In this next unit, we will guide you through creating a 3D design suitable for CNC milling with organic features that couldn’t be produced from a 2D design. Fusion 360 is a great tool for this and in this lesson, you will learn to use the Sculpt Workspace to create more organic shapes.
Find the Fusion 360 icon on your desktop and open a new document. In your left-hand menu, switch on the lightbulb next to Origin to make it visible.
Select Offset Plane in the Construct menu.
Select your bottom horizontal plane and raise it by 10mm.
